Dynamic text is a placeholder for a word or phrase (email, phone number, address, date, etc.) that is automatically inserted into your messages. Each place holder is marked with double square brackets: [[example]].
Each placeholder is populated by data that is linked to your business or one of your customer's. Use them to personalize your booking messages.
Dynamic text example
For our example, Karen wants to book a haircut at my salon.
Karen goes onto my website and enters her details:
- Name: Karen
- Phone number: 202-555-0141
- Email: Karen@example.com
- Appointment date: May 4th, 2021
- Appointment time (according to the availability of the calendar): 17:00
- Additional information: I want a hairdo that says "I want to speak to your manager!"
After I approve Karen's appointment, I want the system to send her an automatic confirmation email with all appointment's details.
